Achievements, also known as Trophies, are optional goals introduced to reward skillful play, encourage varied play-styles, or simply track progress through the game. They are distinct from the Safe House Trophy system, although some goals are shared between the two.

New players should be aware that most achievements are purely superficial, only serving as a form of bragging rights and/or proof of one achieving certain impressive feats. Some (especially those included within a DLC), however, will reward the player with a mask (usually bundled with a pattern and a material); others may give weapon modifications. The simplest way to find these achievements is to search the text on this page (Ctrl+F on windows, Command+F for MacOS) for the word "unlock". To find achievements that unlock weapon modifications, instead use the phrase "for the".

Note: Achievements on the Playstation 4 and Xbox One versions of PAYDAY 2 do not award mods, masks, etc...

Starting with the 2013 Halloween Event, temporary "teaser" achievements are added to achievement pages prior to an update that contains new achievements. The teasers are removed when the new achievements are live.

Introduced in Update #171 were achievement milestones, which are reached by unlocking certain numbers of achievements, with more milestones added as achievements are added to the game. All achievement milestones grant continental coins, with some also giving cosmetic rewards.

  • The conditions required for completing the achievement are a reference to the second part of the quote:"...until I put on the mask."
  • The achievement's icon was also Overkill producer Almir's Steam avatar for a long time.
• Yeah He's a Gold Digger is a reference to Kanye West's song "Gold Digger".
• Fish A.I. is a joke about Infinity Ward, who showcased their fish A.I. in Call of Duty: Ghosts as a big achievement.
  • The description of the achievement is also a reference to the joke, due to the fish AI in Ghosts simply moves away when the player moves near.
• Lord of War is a reference to the film of the same name, which is about an illegal arms dealer.
• You Shall Not Pass! is a quote by Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring film.
• Man of Iron is a reference to the Marvel Comic character Iron Man.
  • Additionally, it could be a reference to the DC Comic character Superman, who is frequently called "Man of Steel".
• Smooth Criminal is a reference to the Michael Jackson song of the same name.
• They See Me Baggin', They Hatin is a reference to the song "Ridin'" by Chamillionaire.
• An F in Chemistry is the lowest possible grade one may receive in American and British school systems, alluding to the crew's failure to add the correct ingredient and causing the lab to explode.
• Caribbean Pirate is a reference to the Disney movie franchise Pirates of the Caribbean.
• Doctor Fantastic is likely a reference to the Marvel character Dr. Reed Richards, a.k.a. Mister Fantastic of the Fantastic Four. He is a doctorate and a scientist who invents many high-tech devices, similar to the fusion engine stolen in Big Oil.
• Diamonds are Forever is a reference to the James Bond novel and film of the same name.
• Shoot the Glass! is a likely reference to the film Die Hard. The antagonist Hans Gruber orders his henchman to shoot out glass windows when he discovers that protagonist John McClane is barefoot.
• The First Line is likely a reference to the first forward line in the game of Ice hockey.
• Tip the Scales is still possible to do even if players have overlevelled and cannot enter the old Laundromat Safe House. By upgrading John Wick's Shooting Range to level 3, the Lady Justice statue can be found in the Kill Room.
• The Armed to the Teeth achievement's icon depicts a Crosskill equipped with the Punisher Compensator, Tactical Pistol Light, and 12rnd Mag. mods.
• The Fully Loaded achievement's icon depicts, from left to right, top to bottom: The Crosskill, Deagle, Bernetti 9, CMP, Bronco .44 with the Pocket Surprise Barrel, Chimano 88, Krinkov without a stock, and Locomotive 12G.

Guessing Game On day 2 of the Firestarter job, complete the heist in stealth without hacking the computer.

Play on Normal difficulty so that there are only three to four boxes to choose from, as opposed to four to five. Because the two correct wires are randomized, the probability of correctly guessing which two wires to cut is ~33.3% if there are three boxes, and ~16.7% if there are four.

They See Me Baggin', They Hatin' On the Garage escape, get away with 8 bags.

Possibly the best place to do this would be in the Rats job. The Transporter skill is helpful for moving bags.

On Day 1, cook at least six bags of meth. Meth bags are lighter than money bags, so cooking extra meth would make the escape somewhat easier, but a lot of time is given for an escape with eight bags anyway. If you encounter the Garage escape on Day 1, then restart the heist because it cannot be encountered on Day 2, making the achievement impossible.

On Day 2, make the trade. If you traded in at least six bags of meth, then there will be three extra money bags in the room with the intel. Grab enough money bags so that you will end up with at least eight loot bags total after you steal back the meth.

If you do not encounter the Garage escape on Day 2, then restart the heist. Otherwise, bring a saw or shaped charges if possible to open doors faster. Once the escape starts, throw at least eight of the bags onto the level above, towards the corner with the staircase that leads to the surface (4 or 5 o'clock when you spawn). Run to the bags, open the door to the nearby staircase and the door at the top of the staircase, and transport the bags to the escape van.

• The achievement I Am the One Who Knocks is a Breaking Bad reference, being a quote from protagonist Walter White. The achievement Full Measure is also a reference to the show, as there is an episode with the same name and the supporting character Mike Ehrmantraut has a "No more half measures" speech which has become quite popular among the fan base.
• From Russia With Love is a reference to the James Bond novel and film of the same name.
• It’s Alive! IT’S ALIVE! is a reference to a quote from Mary Shelley's Frankenstein novel.
• Pump-Action is a pun on pumpkins and pump-action shotguns.
• No One Can Hear You Scream is a reference to the tagline of the 1979 film Alien.
• The Pumpkin King Made Me Do It! is likely a reference to Golden Earring's song "The Devil Made Me Do It". It may also reference the film The Nightmare Before Christmas, as Halloween Town is ruled over by the Pumpkin King.

Eco Round In the GO Bank job, complete the heist without using your primary weapon on the OVERKILL difficulty or above.

To unlock this achievement during a stealth run will be the most straightforward method as most players will normally use a high-concealment silenced secondary to neutralize patrolling guards and cameras. One should proceed with the heist as usual, without ever switching to their primary to avoid accidental discharges. Switching to a primary is not forbidden, but opening fire with one is.

As this is a solo achievement, the weapon status of other crewmates does not count against progression.

Sewer Rats In the GO Bank job, complete the heist having secured all bags of cash via the sewers on the OVERKILL difficulty or above

The sewer escape required for the achievement only triggers under certain circumstances, which are: all loot has been loaded stealthily, but the alarm sounds; if the loot cage has been lifted, regardless of if loot is inside; or if the pilot crashes the plane. Since the first disqualifies players (i.e. all loot is required) it is best completed by deploying the balloon as soon as the cage is built, sending it with no bags inside. Note that the cage needs at least one bag in it to be able to raise the balloon, therefore remove the bag immediately after raising the balloon. Although this achievement can be done loud, players may wish to stealth up until the point all of the bags have been removed from the vault, then the alarm needs to be raised (either don't answer the phone when it rings or run through the vault lasers).

After the pickup is made, the correct manhole will be highlighted and players must move bags towards it. Due to the difficult escape conditions, it is highly recommended players move the bags into the sewers before entering; a player entering the manhole cover triggers the escape timer, so players should plan accordingly.

Players should preferably start moving at the very end of an assault to minimize resistance. Depending strongly on the map's spawns, players will have to move all the money bag spawns through a maze of varying length and difficulty, and may have to bypass a cage door. As players only have around three minutes to load the loot and escape, one player should consider running ahead with light armor to locate the escape.

In order to unlock the achievement, all the money loot bags must be secured to the van loot bag drop zone within the escape zone before the escape is initiated, because the bags carried with the players during the escape moment don't count towards this achievement. Special attention should be kept on the proper loot dropping due the very stressful situation when just few seconds are left to finish the heist while the players are dropping the last loot bags.

We Are All Professionals In the GO Bank job, complete the heist without the alarm going off and without killing any civilians on the OVERKILL difficulty or above.

Acting as more of a chore than a challenge, this achievement requires a much more vigilant stealth approach than usual, and often means sacrificing a large amount of the loot to escape before a hostage calls the police. The achievement is significantly easier when attempted with basic Stockholm Syndrome, aced ECM Specialist, and an OVE9000 saw with the Silent Motor equipped. Taking great care to case the bank for cameras and guards, players must ECM rush the bank with utmost precision, by killing guards, controlling civilians, and breaking cameras without smashing any windows or killing any innocents.

Answering any pagers and tying all civilians, players must swiftly move all hostages to the rear of the bank and out of sight. With the hostages moved and windows unbroken, civilians will only panic once they enter the bank and see it is empty; should they keep spawning and entering, a player with Stockholm Syndrome should routinely terrify any untied civilians. The bank's guards and investigating officers may drop additional cable ties, which can alleviate this or even remove the need for rigorous shouting.

Acquiring the cards and answering the phone, the heist thus continues as usual for stealth. When the GenSec and/or police arrive, they should enter the bank as normal provided no external broken cameras are visible. Regardless, players should take care killing them, doing so with tact and bagging the corpses immediately to prevent civilians seeing. Once the vault is open, boxes should be opened as fast as possible and, once a bag of loot is found, players should dash to the van before the alarm can be raised.

• The teaser achievements are a reference to the nursery rhyme/Christmas carol Christmas is Coming.
• We Are All Professionals is a reference to the film Léon: The Professional, where the main character, Léon, refuses to kill women and children in his line of work. The achievement icon is also a reference, showing Léon's trademark woolen hat and carrying his plant. Also, in Global Offensive, the Terrorist faction in this map is called "Professional".
• Eco Round is a reference to a player term in the Counter Strike series, which GO Bank is based on. When players are low on in-game money, players will call out an "Eco Round" in which the team will resort to using their starting secondary weapons.
• Dead Presents is a pun on "Dead Presidents", as the portraits found on American bank notes are mainly of now-deceased former presidents.

Methods for completing the achievement

The easiest way to get the achievement is to modify a sniper rifle with a laser sight and play a heist with a zip line on normal difficulty with no companions, be they other players or AI. Several heists have a zip line added if the Vantage Point asset is purchased.

As you do not need to complete a contract for achievement progress to register, if you die during the heist you can simply restart it and carry on until you have the requisite 10 kills. Nonetheless it may be wise to carry a medical bag or ammo bag with you.

Bank Heist

This is probably the easiest heist on which to get this achievement (except for the White Xmas Heist)

The vantage point asset gives a zip line from the roof of the bank to the higher roof of a building across the street, and a second zip line in the reverse direction. If you find shooting enemies in the street to be difficult, they will eventually climb up to the two roofs where they will be easier to kill as you approach them.

Note that the zip line from the higher roof to the lower is considerably faster than the opposite direction, and will give little time to make shots.

Rats/Cook Off

The Vantage Point asset gives a zip line from the starting point to the roof of the meth house. Several Mendoza hostiles will spawn outside the building.

To return to the ground, you can jump from the roof to the balcony on the opposite side of the zip line and from there either go down the stairs or jump to the adjacent shed roof and from there to the ground. You can also jump from the roof of the house directly to the shed roof on the same side of the building as the zip line, and then from there to the ground.

White Xmas

The White Xmas Heist contains many zip lines and lots of enemy will spawn, making it extremely convenient to grind for kills on zip lines in this heist. However, the zip-lines' high speed may require some practice to be accustomed to.

Last Action Villain Perform a headshot kill on enemies using only the R93 sniper rifle while zip lining. Completing this achievement will unlock the Compensated Suppressor for the R93 sniper rifle.

One of the easiest ways to get the achievement is to modify an R93 with a laser sight and play Rats on normal with no companions, be they other players or AI. Purchase the Vantage Point asset and you'll get a zipline leading up to the roof of the meth house. Several Mendoza hostiles will spawn outside the building. Properly specced, you can jump from the roof to the roof of the shed and then drop down to the ground if you miss on your first ride. As you do not need to complete a contract for achievement progress to register, you can simply restart the mission until you have the achievement.

Another very easy way to get this achievement is to use a laser sight and play Bank Heist. Purchase the Vantage Point asset and use the two-way zipline to move across the street while shooting at enemies below you. Alternatively, wait for an enemy to climb the ladder from the alleyway to the vantage point, and shoot at his head when you approach the vantage point on the zipline. It is easier to use the zipline that goes from the bank roof to the vantage point for this achievement as it travels much slower. If you fail to kill an enemy with the headshot, simply take the other zipline back to the bank roof and try again.

You Can’t Hide Kill 25 enemies shooting through walls or objects using only the R93 sniper rifle. Completing this achievement will unlock the Wooden Body for the R93 sniper rifle.

One could take advantage of the cars seen in numerous heists, such as in Hoxton Breakout Day 1, as you can generally see through them but they are thin enough that snipers can punch right through them.

Another method for the achievement would be to use the advantage point on Rats day 3, as the railings on the tower count as wall but can be shot through and seen through.

Finally, one could mark special enemies or guards and then run around to the other side of the nearest, thinnest wall/object.

The fastest and safest way to spawn and kill 25 bulldozers is to continually repeat the first few minutes of Meltdown on Normal difficulty. A single green bulldozer will spawn in one of the Murkywater cargo containers who can be found and killed before restarting the heist.

Artillery Barrage Kill 25 enemies at 40 meters or more using only the GL40 grenade launcher. Unlocks the Wooden Stock for the Gecko 7.62 rifle, Pirate Barrel for the GL40 grenade launcher, “Bone” material and “Muerte” pattern.

As above, the start of Meltdown will offer a range of targets at 40m or more - many of the guards in the yard are this far away and a carefully aimed shot can even reach guards on the warehouse roof. The heist can then be restarted as many times as required.

Not Today Kill a jumping Cloaker using the GL40 grenade launcher. Unlocks the Wooden Stock, Retro Grip and Wooden Foregrip for the Gewehr 3 rifle.

Numerous viable strategies exist for this achievement, but as general advice, players should aim to position themselves behind some sort of low cover (tables, counters, cars), do some damage to a Cloaker with a secondary weapon, then approach the cover - when the Cloaker starts his jump, fire at the cover itself and the area-of-effect damage should kill him. On the PC version, damaging the Cloaker prior to the jump is not required on the Very Hard difficulty.

Walk Faster In day two of the Hotline Miami job, reach the Commissar’s apartment in under 210 seconds on the OVERKILL difficulty or above. Unlocks the Rasmus mask, Tactical Foregrip and the Ergonomic Stock for the Uzi submachine gun, “Chromescape” material and "Palmtrees" pattern.

It is a good idea for at least one member of the crew to come with an OVE9000 saw to quickly bypass the cage door.

It is also a good idea for one or more members of the crew to use a shotgun, as the many wooden doors throughout the maze that is the apartment building can be unlocked fairly quickly by a shotgun shot aimed in the general direction of the doorknob. Even better would be a shotgun loaded with HE Slugs or a grenade launcher, as they tend to blow apart wooden doors with one shot and require even less aiming.

The crates in the basement can contain, among its other contents, meth ingredients. To maximize the amount of ingredients in the crates, there are two crates that need to be opened in a specific order: A flat, square, dark crate between an identical one and a light, rectangular crate on the side of the basement opposite of the scanner, and another flat crate in a corner near the scanner. The former crate needs to be opened before any other crate in the basement, and the latter crate needs to be opened after every other crate in the basement is opened. Doing this should yield at least four sets of meth ingredients.

Note that even the above alone is not enough to guarantee enough meth for the achievement, as if there is only one set of ingredients around the meth lab, the players going for this achievement will have to open the "first open" crate later to try for a 5th meth bag in the basement, which has a small chance of succeeding.

• Sounds of Animals Fighting is a reference to the achievement of the same name in Hotline Miami.
• Walk Faster is a reference to the Brandon mask in Hotline Miami, which allows the wearer to walk faster.

Smoke and Mirrors In the Diamond job, steal the Diamond in under 10 minutes. Unlocks the "Pazuzu" mask, "Diamond" material and "Horus" pattern.

This achievement is especially difficult as, even on a perfect speed run on Normal, the crew will be pressed for time; as such, it is highly recommended that everyone holds sprinting perks and/or picking bonuses. Additionally, both playing alone or with friends carry their own disadvantages: coordinating means the hacks and loud escape can be summoned immediately, but playing offline allows players to pause and memorize the maze path.

Regardless of approach, security must be disabled quickly, meaning either: sprinting to security whilst breaking alarmed cases to promptly trigger the 200 second hack objective; or swiftly navigating between white doors and floors to find four boxes in stealth. Once the lasers are off or the shutters raised, the crew will be down a few minutes, meaning the time-locks must be started promptly and watched vigilantly; since the locks take a minimum of 120 seconds and have a long interact time, any additional delays can make or break the attempt.

Once inside the Diamond room, players will have just a few minutes to bypass the tile puzzle and, once the Diamond is grabbed, secure it and escape; since alarms do not impact the achievement, players should strongly consider sprinting straight out the door rather than carefully crossing back. Players attempting stealth should consider using the Bag Man asset with the aced ECM Specialist to hurry through the final objectives, and those choosing loud must trigger the chopper immediately lest the 120 second chopper response time ruin the run.

To summarize, the restrictions on timers means that, between spawn and escape, stealth players need only give account for the time locks. However, loud attempts require 200 seconds to hack security, 120/150 seconds for time locks, and then 120 seconds for the chopper, meaning players only have 2 minutes 40 seconds (or 2 minutes 10 seconds on Overkill or Deathwish) to complete all other objectives and the tile puzzle.

Diamonds in the Rough In the Diamond job, complete the heist, diamond puzzle and steal the Diamond after the alarm has been triggered on OVERKILL difficulty or above. Unlocks the "Anubis" mask, "Mummy Bandages" material and "Hawk Helm" pattern.

Despite the unclear description, the achievement is pretty straightforward: try and get as close to the diamond's vault door as you can, dealing with both timelocks if possible. If you make it that far without triggering the alarm, you won't have to hack the security PC to access the remainder of the objectives. At this point, get yourself detected (i.e. by throwing a grenade) and let security sound the alarm. Then complete the tile puzzle before the cops can arrive and signal the chopper to secure the diamond. It should be noted, however, that while easy enough given the time to work, players should be cautious of all enemy characters, who can set off the gas should they step on a tile; whilst friendly AI characters will not set off the trap, allies gained through the Joker skill will activate tiles, so take care if playing as a Mastermind.

OVE SAW 72000 In the Nightclub job, complete the heist on any difficulty with each crew member using the OVE 9000 saw as primary and secondary weapons. Unlocks the "THRUST Upper Receiver", "THRUST Lower Receiver" and "Long Ergo Foregrip" for the CAR weapon family.

Note that this achievement can be completed by any number of players, as long as all human players are wielding saws as both primary and secondary weapons - it may therefore be best to bring AI henchmen to gun down the mobsters as rapidly as possible if going loud. The difficulty is not restricted, either, so the easiest difficulty can be chosen. Stockholm Syndrome basic combined with one of the saws lacking the Silent Motor will make it a little easier to complete the heist in stealth. To speedrun the heist in loud, one could complete it on Normal, saw open the security door, use Shaped Charges to open the safe and wait in the room for the pickup truck and escape van to arrive. Using melee will be easier to kill normal cops as specials enemies will be more absent on lower difficulties.

There are enough ATMs in the entrance area and lower shopping floors to complete this objective with saws or ECM jammers. With 2 or 3 teammates on Overkill difficulty(8 ATMs needed) and a bit of coordination, each picking a side and 1 assisting the other, they can easily complete the achievement.

This can be done numerous ways, but the least obvious method is to take the vantage point asset and snipe from across the street. The police AI will not send them into the building if there are no players or hostages inside and the front windows remain intact.

As Twitch doesn't leave prior to going loud, Private Party can only be completed in open combat.

This method is best done with 4 players. To keep the cops out of the Jewelry Store is to have 1 player at the back defending one of the offices. Another at the right office and two at the front covering the entrance. It may be beneficial to have two Technicians with Sentry Guns and Trip Mines, these can be used to cover the back windows and help the other duo at the front. One of the players at the front should have Inspire Aced and the other player at the front be an Enforcer for maximum damage output. The randomly spawned container in the alley alley may benefit the crew in their attempt as the left-handed windows and office are completely blocked, meaning there will be one less entry/exit point to cover.

Note that the police will not enter via the sides if the windows are intact and closed. Cloakers spawning inside the store via overhead vents will not void this achievement, though they may complicate the situation if the crew is caught off-guard.

It is possible to solo this achievement holding the outside front of the store with a pair of sentries. Do not open or break any windows, and stay out front with the sentries.

It is possible to solo this achievement from the vantage point. Sentries can be used to take out police units over the edges, letting you focus on keeping the front door clear. Do not bring AI henchmen as they will run into the store and draw in the police; they may also break windows. Shoot the first responders; frequently shoot further responders to hold their attention, and pay particular attention to any police straying towards the front of the store. Be careful not to shoot out the store front windows. The police will not break the windows, so the front door is their only entrance, and it's easy to cover from the vantage point. (Video)

Hold out until the van comes back; the heist doesn't need to be completed to get the achievement, and like the other achievements it can be done without DLC ownership.

Attempting this on a lower difficulty is recommended due to the time-consuming nature of hunting all the loot and the extra crowbar spawns. Crews should attempt a co-ordinated and rigorous sweep of the entire map, with the priority on seeking crowbars and opening all the containers and warehouse cages. Care should be taken to ensure that bags aren't taken back by the cops - the best options are either to load them into a vehicle or to place them in the alleyway towards the escape, as cops will not leave the yard to collect them.

Multiple trips will be necessary in order to bring all the bags to the escape, the crew will have to decide how to proceed but clearly the Longfellow is the easiest vehicle to take on multiple trips. Choosing to eliminate the SWAT vans may be a wise move.

There Was A Car?! In the Meltdown job, complete the heist without using the "Longfellow".

First and foremost, attempting this on a lower difficulty is highly recommended, as the high concentration of enemies and snipers combined with having to move very heavy bags can make this difficult even on Normal. Further, players should equip themselves to deal with SWAT van turrets as it may be necessary to eliminate one or more along the way.

The heist can be completed as usual aside from avoiding the Longfellow, with players even using the forklifts as desired. Upon reaching the gate, there are two ways to progress: on foot, or by forklift. Players proceeding on foot have the comfort of moving as a unit and use of all four guns, along with freedom to place health and ammo bags. On the other hand, multiple forklifts can speed up the process significantly, leaving the drivers exposed but able to carry three loot bags on the forks and any other players on the back. A well co-ordinated team may even be able to drive the forklifts in reverse, allowing the passenger on the back to fire forwards.

Regardless of approach, players should take care moving along the paths, making sure to avoid the SWAT van if possible or simply eliminate it with high power weaponry. After finally reaching the train, players can end the heist as usual.

When attempting this achievement no enemy or civilian may be allowed to die by any means, however dominating an enemy is allowed. It is suggested to disable the AI team-mates, because their kills also count. If players are detected during the casing escape, it may be possible to survive long enough for the van escape to arrive without killing anyone.

Even Steven In The Alesso Heist job, get your seven bucks back. Unlocks the "Cantus" mask, "Bionic" material and "Circle Raster" pattern. Note: This achievement refers to the parking meter in the basement.

In order to complete this achievement, players must use a single C4 charge (not shaped charge) to detonate the parking meter in the garage. Contrary to the description, it is actually a ticket dispenser rather than a ticket machine, which is bright orange and located next to the garage door underneath the vaults; the model is identical to the orange ticket machines found in Hoxton Breakout. The C4 charge can only be placed on the ticket dispenser after the alarm is raised, and only on Normal or Overkill difficulties, as those are the only difficulties which leave players with an extra C4 to use.

Fuck It, We're Walking In The Alesso Heist job, complete the heist in loud without using the zip-line or bag chutes on the OVERKILL difficulty or above. Unlocks the "Female Concert Goer" mask, "Stained Glass" material and "Soundwave" pattern.

There are a number of viable strategies for this achievement:

• Run most of the heist in stealth, bringing the bags as far upstairs as possible, then raise the alarm by killing a fifth guard and load the bags and escape as quickly as possible.
• If going loud, either :
  • bag the loot and then retreat from the basement - the cops will tend to move lootbags to the middle of the main stairs;
  • throw the bags from the central tables and catch them from the balcony above;
  • or, have a player jump down on to the pink awning over the t-shirt kiosk, then throw bags up to them then up on to the balcony.

M.F. Stev In The Alesso Heist job, complete the pyro sequences without failing even once. Unlocks the "Male Concert Goer" mask, "Dim Blue" material and "Smoke" pattern.

Unlike most achievements, the difficulty in mastering the pyrotechnics show lies in the lack of explanation. Despite being instructed by the intercom to hit the buttons as soon as you're told, players must wait for around a second after the order for Bain to confirm which specific button(s) must be pressed but players cannot wait too long.

On higher difficulties Bain will tell players to press two buttons, although the order is not important.

Note that on loud, when parts of the pyro rig can break and need repairing, be sure to complete those actions before pressing the pyro buttons.

The knife will always be on a hobo that wears a blue hood. The civilian will always run to escape the map, meaning players will have to be quick to tie him down or shoot him.

The achievement can easily be obtained by simply mashing the jump button while standing in a doorway.

I Never Asked For This Don't jump a single time during an entire heist. Unlocks the Rageface mask.

This can be accomplished on most maps even in solo, meaning earning this achievement is a simple matter of avoiding jump-requiring shortcuts or ignoring muscle memory if nothing else. Also note that falling off of elevated surfaces does not invalidate the achievement.

Currently, the only map that absolutely requires at least one jump to complete thus impossible to obtain the achievement on is Undercover, where players have to jump to escape to the helicopter.

Jump! Jump! Jump! Finish a heist without it ever going more than 4 seconds between you jumping. Unlocks the Dawg mask.

The only heists that do not require interactions equal to or longer than 4 seconds are Mallcrasher, Santa's Workshop, White Xmas, and Jewelry Store on lower difficulties, meaning one can feasibly solo these heists and get the achievement, the former two provided that the player mask up and jump immediately.

Obviously, entering bleedout would void the achievement unless revived with Inspire aced almost immediately.

• 400 Bucks is a reference to one of the level designers who spent $400 USD on a knife in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
• Original Heisters is the first achievement to require the specific usage of certain characters, in this case the four original crew members (Dallas, Chains, Wolf, Hoxton) from the first game.
• The OVERDRILL achievement's description references how most heist-related achievements in PAYDAY: The Heist would state "To complete this challenge, you have to have played the heist from the start." at the end of the achievement description, for the challenge would not be considered completed if one joined a game mid-progress, and the achievement would not be awarded.
• The assembled title of PAYDAY 2 First World Bank's teaser achievements forms a part of one of the Bank Manager's most memorable quotes from the original heist ("...he was messing around in the server room...").
• But How? is an achievement from the first game.
