Description

The cleaver is a kind of knife primarily used for cutting through meat and bone, but rather than using precise cuts the cleaver delivers powerful hammer-like blows that rend even the most durable flesh. Cleavers have a long history of butchering human beings as well as livestock, as the Chinese Triad consider the Cleaver something of a trademark weapon. Easily concealable, inexpensive, and a marked effect on both the target’s psyche and body. In short, you can go Full-Cow-Sacrifice-in-Apocalypse-Now-mode.

Dragan's Cleaver Knife is a melee weapon available in PAYDAY 2, added with the release of the Dragan Character Pack DLC. It becomes available to DLC owners at reputation 25.

Overview

The Dragan's Cleaver Knife is a large butcher's cleaver and shares many similarities with the regular Cleaver Knife, namely its identical damage and speed. Apart from that, it trades one point of Concealment for slightly increased range.

Tips

• Players deal more damage per second with this weapon by attacking as quickly as possible, rather than fully charging attacks.
• If a player wishes for more damage, it is recommended that they get Berserker, Pumping Iron and Bloodthirst Aced from the Brawler skill tree.
• If a player wishes for more knockdown, use Martial Arts Aced.

Trivia

• This is the second cleaver knife-type melee weapon added to PAYDAY 2, the first being the Cleaver Knife.
• Seeing as it is the tool of a butcher, it is fair to assume that Dragan received this weapon from The Butcher herself as part of his gear when she sent him to the U.S.
