The Money Bundle is a free community melee weapon in PAYDAY 2, released on August 7th, celebrating 1 million members on the Payday 2 Steam community group. It is simply a thick bundle of hundred dollar bills bound together.

Overview

With relatively low damage, the Money Bundle's main benefit is its reasonable knockdown value with quick swings and, of course, the comedic value of slapping cops around with a thick wad of cash.

Its stats are comparable to the Empty Palm Kata, with a slightly slower unequip in exchange for slightly reduced cooldown between swings, making it more useful for repeated strikes.

Tips

• Players deal more damage per second with this weapon by attacking as quickly as possible, rather than fully charging attacks.
• If a player wishes for more damage, it is recommended that they get Berserker, Pumping Iron and Bloodthirst Aced from the Brawler skill tree.
• If a player wishes for more knockdown, use Martial Arts Aced.

Trivia

• The total value of the money in the bundle is $10,000, as seen on the bank tape binding the notes together.
• The in-game model differs from both the crimefest preview and the weapon's inventory icon; the in-game model is a fictionalized representation of the hundred dollar note, while the icon and CrimeFest preview show the real-life design.
  • In fact, previewing the Money Bundle in-game shows that the dollar bills are fake with an image of Dallas's signature mask on each note. An Overkill logo can be seen to the right of the right of this image, partially hidden by the bundle tape.
  • The words "The Grand Slap" and "Dallas" (with a stylized $ in place of the letter "s") are written on the bundle along with a drawn picture of one stick figure slapping another with it. 
  • Bo Andersson's signature can be seen on the bundle.
• When using the Money Bundle to attack, one can hear the sound of the notes unfolding like pages of a book being turned rapidly. Holding a charge also causes the bundle to wobble audibly.

Achievements

Down Payment On the First World Bank job, kill the bank manager with the Money Bundle melee weapon.

Just Shut up and Take My Money! On day 1 of the Reservoir Dogs job, hit the cashier in the Garnet Group boutique with the Money Bundle melee weapon.
