---|---|---|---|---|
Page used for the archival of the voiceline files used by the entity Medic (Payday 2).
The standard Medic is voiced by Joe Zieja.
This section covers all variants of the Medic who use English voicelines. These include:
- Standard variants
- SWAT Team
- FBI Operatives
- The GenSec Corporation
- ZEAL Task Force
- Murkywater mercenaries.
- Undead forces.
Passive[]
Category for voicelines that aren't on-combat voicelines, but instead that fit better to be played while outside of combat. For example, an on-spawn voiceline is not related to attacking the heisters.
Spawn[]
Voiceline played on-spawn by the entity, either by a scripted spawn, or regular enemy spawner points from an assault wave. Not to be confused with the contractor's special unit announcement line, e.g. "they're sending in a Hostage Rescue Team!", nor Cloaker's feedback sound effect on-spawn.
General (Passive)[]
Voicelines generally played at random when engaging a player. In contrast to 'General (Aggressive)', these lines don't directly reference the heister(s).
Aggressive[]
Opposite of 'Passive', categories for voicelines related to scenarios for combat, whether its present (taunting heisters), past (death voicelines), or future (threatening heisters).
General (Aggressive)[]
Voicelines generally played at random when engaging a player. In contrast to 'General (Passive)', these lines will mention heisters, either by team communication, taunting, or threatening.
Enemy Spotted[]
If entity makes direct visual contact with heister.
Heister Incapacitated[]
If entity is close to a heister when downed, play a voiceline.

Condition[]
If entity receives a damaging condition from the heisters, such as regular ballistic damage, melee attacks, explosives, or flammable weaponry that triggers the burning effect.
Injury (Others)[]
On hit by a ballistic type of damage source, including but not limited to melee, regular ammo types, explosives, or flashbangs.

Unique Dialogue[]
Certain entities have unique conditions that when fulfilled, will play a special voiceline.
Unit Healed[]
A Medic-exclusive voiceline, played when any cop-team entity (or Russian for Boiling Point), except if Cloaker, is depleted of their health points while close to the Medic. If so, the Medic 'revives' the cop, playing a healing animation for the Medic, and a standing up animation for the patient, regaining full 100% HP.
The Russian Medic is voiced by Igor Perunov[1].
This section covers the Akan variant of the Medic who use Russian voicelines.

Terminology[]
- Morphine and ibuprofen are analgesics used to achieve a relief of pain.
Trivia[]
- Morphine, together with all other pain killers, do not take effect immediately. An injured unit would still be incapacitated by pain, as even the fastest pain relief medication, epidural morphine sulfate injection, can still take minimum 6 minutes (and up to 30 minutes) to take effect.
- The line "These guys are going down like The Daltons." ( twice) is a reference to the gang of American Old West outlaws from the 1890s, The Dalton Brothers.
- The line "Pain! Killer!" is a reference to one of the lyrical segments from the 1990's Painkiller song, composed by the British heavy metal band Judas Priest. Video (5:00)
- The line "Take two of these and call me in the morning." ( twice) is a reference to the Dimetapp Medication TV Commercial aired in 1987.
- The line "I see you." is a reference to one of the medical departments, Intensive Care Unit, which is often referred from its abbreviation instead of full name, ICU.
- Some of the lines, such as "Stop, police!" have not aged well as new enemy teams were introduced.
- The undead horde from Cursed Kill Room are, in fact, police officers. Therefore, the police claim is correct, as these units were probably killed in the area of operations, thus not discharged from their duties on their once-alive bodies.
- GenSec is a private military company who provides support to the police department. Whether GenSec units are actual police units who were provided equipment, or personnel from GenSec (similar to Murkywater) is unknown, thus the validity of the claim of being police is also unknown.
- Murkywater is a private military-industrial company, not connected to the law (in fact, Murkywater is as criminal as the PAYDAY gang from their smuggling operations and breach of the 18 U.S. Code § 831 to name a few), thus the lines are not fitting.
- The ZEAL Task Force is a fictional law enforcement agency, albeit paramilitary with a heavier arsenal at their disposal in comparison to its sister agencies. The police lines do fit the Medic's claim of being a law enforcer.
Audio Archives[]

- "We've got them cornered."
- "Stay patient and we'll take them."
- Death shout (Russian)
- "There they are!"
- "These guys are fucked."
- "Painkiller in the house."
