Incendiary Grenades can be thrown by pressing "3" (by default) and will explode after a few seconds, setting enemies caught in the blast on fire. Although unlike the Molotov Cocktail, the Incendiary Grenade will not set the ground on fire after detonating, and is instead used to quickly ignite enemies in a larger area. The Incendiary Grenade can bounce off of surfaces and will explode if it is shot. The player is able to carry 6 Incendiary Grenades.
The Incendiary Grenade explodes and deals 30 damage within a 5 meter radius upon detonation, proccing a fire effect on all enemies caught in the blast, which deals 250 damage every 0.5 seconds for a 2.1 second duration, leaving them to take 750 total damage.
1 second after damage is dealt, enemies will play a panic animation which goes on for 4.3 seconds. Certain enemies such as Cloakers and Bulldozers are immune to this effect.
The in-game use is not the intended one for this type of grenade, however. With it being essentially a handheld thermite charge, the M14 grenade is a utility, often placed onto the target in a roughly secure environment and then triggered, resulting in the object being destroyed by the ensuing reaction.
