The Kazaguruma is a melee weapon available in PAYDAY 2, added as part of the cross-promotion between the PAYDAY franchise and Flying Wild Hog Studio's 2016 videogame Shadow Warrior 2.
Overview[]
The Kazaguruma is a set of compact tri-bladed melee weapons that are perfect for stealth and Dodge builds due to their perfect combined Concealment and reasonable damage, though they are somewhat awkward when trying to stun an enemy during an assault owing to their lackluster knockdown power even when charged.
Tips[]
- Players deal more damage per second with this weapon by attacking as quickly as possible, rather than fully charging attacks.
- If a player wishes for more damage, it is recommended that they get Berserker, Pumping Iron and Bloodthirst Aced from the Brawler skill tree.
- If a player wishes for more knockdown, use Martial Arts Aced.
Trivia[]
- The Kazaguruma (風車, lit. Windmill) is a reference to the same weapon as it appeared in Shadow Warrior 2. Just as in its source material, the Kazaguruma has roughly the same attack animations and is dual-wielded in PAYDAY 2 even though the inventory icon and preview only show one of the weapons.
- Despite being relatively large and coming in pairs, the Kazaguruma maintains perfect Concealment overall.
- Despite being spun at high speeds when rearing up for a charged attack, the Kazaguruma is not capable of hitting, much less damaging anything around the user, or even the user themselves.
