"This isn't some ambiguous crime wave, this is the fault of one group. One! That FUCKING Payday Gang! We've been fighting a PR nightmare ever since they've hit GenSec Arena!"
—Patricia J. Sharke in Lost Tape #1

Patricia J. Sharke was the CEO of Gold & Sharke bank, a major shareholder in GenSec, and the secondary antagonist of PAYDAY 3. She was first introduced in PAYDAY 2's first Lost Tape, but made her first official appearance in the cutscenes of PAYDAY 3.

Background[]

PAYDAY 2: The Lost Tapes[]

Sharke was a major shareholder in the security company GenSec, and due to the constant successes of the Payday gang's operations, they pulled out of Washington DC, as many of their clients had terminated their contracts with them. This was a big hit to Sharke.

PAYDAY 3[]

Working with the ex-CEO of Murkywater and founder of defense contractor Treaty, John Concord, along with Ralph Garnet, another ruined victim of the heisters, they set a plan in action to eliminate the Payday gang. Using the tools at her disposal, she was able to freeze their accounts, leaving them with nothing. When the hit was not as successful as they had anticipated, the conspirators looked for other ways of dealing with them.

After the Under the Surphaze heist, her identity as one of the people involved in the assassination attempt was discovered by Shade, who organized retaliation against her by hitting her back and stealing important data on the bank's network, as well as exposing her corruption. The data showed that Sharke had powerful connections to someone in a much higher position than her own.

Shortly after the Touch the Sky heist, Sharke's reputation was in ruins and was facing criminal charges for mass corruption and bank fraud. Before she could face the authorities however, she was killed in a hit and run ordered by Concord, seemingly having outlived her usefulness.

Trivia[]

  • Sharke has a different physical appearance between the core heists' cutscenes and the cutscene immediately preceding the Syntax Error heist. She is depicted as having slightly longer hair sporting a different style, appeared to have more makeup on, and lacked the earings that Sharke wore in the cutscenes she appeared in. Her suit is also different, wearing an undershirt that is slightly unbuttoned
