Overview[]
The Shock Grenade is an explosive device that begins a 3-second fuse as soon as it is held. Upon detonation, a total of 2 detonations will occur after the initial explosion. Once thrown, the Smoke Grenade can bounce off surfaces. By default, players can carry up to 3.
During each detonation, an arc of electricity is created and will affect the closest 7 NPCs, civilians or SWAT. The arc travels and reaches NPCs either through being within in-range of the grenade itself, or the electricity jumping from an NPC to another. During each detonation each arc will keep NPCs stunned in placed for 2 seconds. Additionally, the Shock Grenade will instantly kill Shields, Zappers, and Techies.
The Electrician Subtree in the Mechanic Tree offers upgrades to the Shock Grenade.

Strategies[]
Where the Shock Grenade also shines is how its lethal against Shields, Zappers, and Techies, the most notably being Shields. Shock Grenades allow for a quick method of taking out Shields instantly, while also disrupting the group of enemies behind them.
