Description
Dr. Tobolsky’s “Stainless Steel Syringe” has long been appreciated for its large dosage capabilities in the medical field. Its sturdy build has made it an unconventional, but not uncommon, weapon among heisters. It holds enough poison to last an entire heist, resulting in a slow death for anyone unlucky enough to get stung.

Stainless Steel Syringe is a melee weapon available in PAYDAY 2, added to the game on Day 4 of the 2018 Breaking News Community event.

Overview[]

Stainless Steel Syringe is a long inox medical syringe invented by Dr. Karl Tobolsky of Mercy Hospital. Due to its thin pointed tip, it deals rather mild damage to enemies and has rather poor knockdown capabilities, but it makes up for this by being able to poison whomever it hits, and it does so with great aplomb due to its small size allowing the wielder to perform rapid jabs with it.

Tips[]

  • Players deal more damage per second with this weapon by attacking as quickly as possible, rather than fully charging attacks.
  • If a player wishes for more damage, it is recommended that they get Berserker, Pumping Iron and Bloodthirst Aced from the Brawler skill tree.
  • If a player wishes for more knockdown, use Martial Arts Aced.

Trivia[]

  • Despite only holding about a quarter of its capacity worth of poison, the Stainless Steel Syringe will never run out of this substance no matter how many times it is used.
  • A hypodermic medical syringe makes for a poor stabbing weapon in reality due to the brittleness of its thin needle, especially when jabbed against hard armor.
